White Almond Cupcakes with Green Tea Whipped Frosting

For my birthday, this year, I wanted to try something not too sweet, and yummy!
I found this Green Tea Frosting recipe, and baked a white cake box mix, substituting applesauce, for oil, and adding 1t almond extract.

Green Tea Whipped Cream Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 cup whipping cream
• 2 tablespoons caster sugar
• 2 teaspoons green tea powder
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

Whip the whipping cream until soft peaks.

Add in sugar, green tea powder, and vanilla extract and whip until peaks form.
