I found this recipe, and changed it up a bit! My boys LOVED it, and asked for it three breakfasts, in a row!
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
4 ounces hot water (but not boiling)
6 teaspoons honey (or artificial sweetener)
8 ounces skim milk
8 frozen strawberries
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)
Directions
- Mix 1/2 tsp green tea powder in 2 ounces of hot water in a bowl. Stir with a whisk until completely dissolved.
- Stir in 3 teaspoons of honey.
- Add in 4 ounces of milk and stir.
- (Optional) Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Add strawberries and blend in a blender until smooth.
