I bought these totes, and then Cricut'd the vinyl, and stuck it on the bags. I added the cute ribbon, and Voila! Christmas gifts!

Dried Apricot Muffins

These were so quick, to make! They are delicious, and almost taste like a cake. Ingredients 1 cup chopped dried apricots 1 cup boiling water 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup sour cream 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Instructions Soak diced apricots in boiling water for 5 minutes. In large mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add sour cream, mix well. Combine dry ingredients; Stir into creamed mixture just until fully mixed. Drain apricots, pat dry with paper towel and stir into batter. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until tests done.

Brisket

I copied this from the Smitten Kitchen. Has anything she's made, come out badly?! I used her recipe, with a few changes. My boys LOVED this, and asked me to make it again. It seems difficult, but it's super easy. My changes are noted here. Brisket Serves 8 to 10 servings 3 large onions, sliced 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 6 garlic cloves, peeled and halved 1 teaspoon paprika 2 teaspoons salt 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 1/4 teaspoons black pepper 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (I omitted) 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 2 cups beef stock (unsalted or low salt) 1 cup ketchup (Make sure it's Kosher for Pesach, if making for Pesach.) 1 cup Heinz chili sauce (Make sure it's Kosher for Pesach, if making for Pesach.) 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark) 8 to 10 pound brisket Prepare the sauce: Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and sauté onions in vegetable oil, stirring occasionall...

Marinated Veggie Cheese Sandwich
