My son wanted a Mad Scientist party. I was super nervous about making this, but my cake baking friend came over and tutored me. (And lent me all her stuff!) The cake is one layer of lemon, and one of vanilla. The frosting is a basic frostine with Crisco. (I didn't want to use it, but my cake expert said it would be the best way to go.)
